Steps

  1. Begin by preparing the lotus root. Peel the lotus root and slice it into thin rounds, about 0.5 cm thick.
  2. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, and sugar. Mix well and set aside.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the sliced lotus root to the pan and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until slightly tender but still crunchy.
