  • Ground beef - 250 grams

  • Ssamjang (Korean soybean paste) - 2 tablespoons
  • Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
  • Lettuce leaves (Butter or Romaine) - 8 large leaves
  • Cucumber - 1 small, julienned
  • Radish - 1 small, julienned
  • Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon, toasted

Steps

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, add sesame oil and minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant.
  2. Add the ground beef to the skillet, cooking until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in soy sauce and ssamjang, mixing well to combine with the beef, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  4. Remove the skillet from heat and mix in chopped green onions.
  5. Prepare the lettuce leaves by rinsing them under cold water and patting dry with a paper towel.
  6. To assemble, place a spoonful of the beef mixture onto a lettuce leaf, add some cucumber and radish, then sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.
  7. Fold the lettuce leaf around the filling and enjoy your ssamjang wrap!
