Steps
- Rinse the short-grain rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then soak it in water for 20 minutes.
- In a medium pot, bring 1.5 cups of water to a boil, add the soaked rice, reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the water is absorbed and the rice is tender.
