- Shirataki noodles - 200 grams
- Fresh spinach - 150 grams
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Sesame oil - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Red pepper flakes - 1 teaspoon
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Toasted sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Egg - 1, beaten (optional)
- Salt - to taste
- Pepper - to taste
Steps
- Rinse the shirataki noodles under cold water and drain well.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat the sesame oil over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Increase the heat to high and add the shirataki noodles, stirring for 2-3 minutes to heat them through.
- Add the spinach and cook for another 2-3 minutes until wilted.
- Stir in the soy sauce, red pepper flakes, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- If using, push the noodles to one side of the skillet and pour the beaten egg into the empty space, scrambling until cooked through.
- Mix everything together, add the chopped green onions, and cook for another minute.
- Serve hot, garnished with toasted sesame seeds.
