- Fresh spinach - 200 grams
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes) - 1 teaspoon
- Toasted sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Pepper - to taste
- Egg - 1 large
- Green onions - 2, chopped
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Rinse the spinach thoroughly under cold water to remove any dirt and sand, then drain well.
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil and blanch the spinach for about 1-2 minutes until wilted. Drain and cool in cold water, then squeeze out excess moisture.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the blanched spinach, sesame oil, minced garlic, soy sauce, gochugaru, chopped green onions, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine all ingredients.
- Beat the egg in a separate bowl and add it to the spinach mixture, stirring until evenly distributed.
- Transfer the spinach mixture to a lightly greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the top is set and slightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
