- Firm Tofu - 300 grams
- Soy Sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Gochujang (Korean red chili paste) - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
- Ginger (grated) - 1 teaspoon
- Maple Syrup - 1 tablespoon
- Green Onions (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame Seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Bell Pepper (cut into chunks) - 1 medium
- Zucchini (sliced) - 1 small
- Wooden Skewers - 4
Steps
- Press the tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into 2.5 cm cubes.
- In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, gochujang, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and maple syrup to create the marinade.
- Add the tofu cubes to the marinade and let them soak for at least 10 minutes.
- While the tofu marinates, soak the wooden skewers in water for 10 minutes to prevent burning.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat.
- Thread the marinated tofu, bell pepper chunks, and zucchini slices onto the soaked skewers, alternating the ingredients.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until the tofu is slightly charred and the vegetables are tender.
- Remove the skewers from the grill and sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
