Ingredients

  • Firm Tofu - 300 grams
  • Soy Sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Gochujang (Korean red chili paste) - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame Oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
  • Ginger (grated) - 1 teaspoon
  • Maple Syrup - 1 tablespoon
  • Green Onions (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame Seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Bell Pepper (cut into chunks) - 1 medium
  • Zucchini (sliced) - 1 small
  • Wooden Skewers - 4

Steps

  1. Press the tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into 2.5 cm cubes.
  2. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, gochujang, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and maple syrup to create the marinade.
  3. Add the tofu cubes to the marinade and let them soak for at least 10 minutes.
  4. While the tofu marinates, soak the wooden skewers in water for 10 minutes to prevent burning.
  5. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat.
  6. Thread the marinated tofu, bell pepper chunks, and zucchini slices onto the soaked skewers, alternating the ingredients.
  7. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until the tofu is slightly charred and the vegetables are tender.
  8. Remove the skewers from the grill and sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
