- Pizza dough - 1 base (approximately 250g)
- Firm tofu - 200g, pressed and cubed
- Gochujang (Korean chili paste) - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Mozzarella cheese - 150g, shredded
- Green bell pepper - 1, sliced
- Red onion - 1/2, thinly sliced
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, for garnish
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
- In a medium bowl, combine the cubed tofu, gochujang, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Toss until the tofu is well coated.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated tofu and sauté for 5-7 minutes until golden and slightly crispy. Remove from heat.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and transfer it to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
- Spread a thin layer of gochujang on the pizza base for added flavor.
- Evenly distribute the sautéed tofu, sliced green bell pepper, and red onion on top of the pizza.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the toppings.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
- Once baked, remove the pizza from the oven and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Slice and serve hot.
