Ingredients

  • Pizza dough - 1 base (approximately 250g)
  • Firm tofu - 200g, pressed and cubed
  • Gochujang (Korean chili paste) - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Mozzarella cheese - 150g, shredded
  • Green bell pepper - 1, sliced
  • Red onion - 1/2, thinly sliced
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the cubed tofu, gochujang, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Toss until the tofu is well coated.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated tofu and sauté for 5-7 minutes until golden and slightly crispy. Remove from heat.
  4. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and transfer it to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  5. Spread a thin layer of gochujang on the pizza base for added flavor.
  6. Evenly distribute the sautéed tofu, sliced green bell pepper, and red onion on top of the pizza.
  7. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the toppings.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
  9. Once baked, remove the pizza from the oven and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Slice and serve hot.
