- Honey - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
- Cucumber - 1 small, julienned
- Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon, for garnish
- Salt - to taste
- Pepper - to taste
Steps
- In a bowl, combine gochujang, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create a marinade.
- Add the thinly sliced pork to the marinade, mix well, and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- While the pork is marinating, prepare the vegetables by julienning the carrot and cucumber, and chopping the green onions.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the marinated pork along with the marinade and cook for about 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pork is cooked through and slightly caramelized.
- While the pork is cooking, reheat the cooked jasmine rice if necessary.
- To serve, place a generous scoop of rice on each plate, top with the spicy pork mixture, and arrange the julienned carrot and cucumber on the side.
