Ingredients
- Pork ribs - 500 grams
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Gochujang (Korean red chili paste) - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic, minced - 3 cloves
- Ginger, grated - 1 teaspoon
- Swerve (or other keto-friendly sweetener) - 1 tablespoon
- Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
- Green onions, chopped - 2 tablespoons (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon (for garnish)
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, gochujang, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, Swerve, rice vinegar, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- Add the pork ribs to the marinade, making sure they are fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2 hours for deeper flavor.
- Preheat your grill or oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Remove the ribs from the marinade and place them on the grill or in a baking dish.
- Cook the ribs on the grill for about 25-30 minutes, turning occasionally, or bake in the oven for about 40-45 minutes, until they are tender and well-cooked.
- During the last 10 minutes of cooking, brush the ribs with the leftover marinade for added flavor.
- Once cooked, remove the ribs from the heat and let them rest for a few minutes.
- Slice the ribs and serve, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
