Ingredients

  • Pork ribs - 500 grams
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Gochujang (Korean red chili paste) - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic, minced - 3 cloves
  • Ginger, grated - 1 teaspoon
  • Swerve (or other keto-friendly sweetener) - 1 tablespoon
  • Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
  • Green onions, chopped - 2 tablespoons (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon (for garnish)

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, gochujang, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, Swerve, rice vinegar, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Add the pork ribs to the marinade, making sure they are fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2 hours for deeper flavor.
  3. Preheat your grill or oven to 180°C (350°F).
  4. Remove the ribs from the marinade and place them on the grill or in a baking dish.
  5. Cook the ribs on the grill for about 25-30 minutes, turning occasionally, or bake in the oven for about 40-45 minutes, until they are tender and well-cooked.
  6. During the last 10 minutes of cooking, brush the ribs with the leftover marinade for added flavor.
  7. Once cooked, remove the ribs from the heat and let them rest for a few minutes.
  8. Slice the ribs and serve, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
