  • Brown sugar - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Green onions - 2, finely chopped
  • Burger buns - 2
  • Lettuce leaves - 2
  • Tomato - 1, sliced
  • Cucumber - 1/2, sliced
  • Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons (optional)

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground pork, minced garlic, grated ginger, gochujang, soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, salt, black pepper, and chopped green onions. Mix until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into two equal-sized patties.
  3. Preheat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat and lightly oil the surface.
  4. Cook the pork patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F) and are nicely browned.
  5. While the patties are cooking, toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden.
