Ingredients

  • Firm tofu - 300 grams
  • Soy sauce - 30 ml
  • Gochujang (Korean chili paste) - 15 grams
  • Sesame oil - 10 ml
  • Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
  • Ginger (grated) - 1 teaspoon
  • Green onion (chopped) - 2 stalks
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Rice vinegar - 10 ml
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Press the tofu for about 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into 1.5 cm thick slices.
  2. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, gochujang, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, rice vinegar, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  3. Add the tofu slices to the marinade and let them soak for at least 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  4. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Grill the marinated tofu slices for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and have grill marks.
  6. Remove the tofu from the grill and sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
