Ingredients

  • White fish fillets (e.g., cod or tilapia) - 300 grams
  • Gochujang (Korean chili paste) - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce (gluten-free) - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Honey - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
  • Ginger, grated - 1 teaspoon
  • Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Scallions, chopped - 2 stalks (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon (for garnish)

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix gochujang, gluten-free soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, lime juice, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Place the fish fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
  4. Remove the fish from the marinade and let any excess marinade drip off. Discard the remaining marinade.
  5. Place the fish on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Once cooked, remove the fish from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
  7. Serve the grilled fish garnished with chopped scallions and sesame seeds.
