- Oil for frying - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and place in a mixing bowl.
- In a separate bowl, combine the minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, gochujang, sesame oil, black pepper, and salt to create the marinade.
- Pour the marinade over the chicken pieces and mix well. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- In another bowl, set up a breading station with almond flour and the beaten egg.
- Dip each marinated chicken piece into the egg, then coat with almond flour, ensuring an even layer.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the chicken bites in batches, being careful not to overcrowd the pan.
- Fry the chicken bites for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from the skillet and place on a paper towel to drain excess oil. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
