Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 300 grams
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Gochujang (Korean chili paste) - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Almond flour - 1/4 cup
  • Egg - 1, beaten
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Oil for frying - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and place in a mixing bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, gochujang, sesame oil, black pepper, and salt to create the marinade.
  3. Pour the marinade over the chicken pieces and mix well. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. In another bowl, set up a breading station with almond flour and the beaten egg.
  5. Dip each marinated chicken piece into the egg, then coat with almond flour, ensuring an even layer.
  6. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the chicken bites in batches, being careful not to overcrowd the pan.
  7. Fry the chicken bites for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Remove from the skillet and place on a paper towel to drain excess oil. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
