- Udon noodles - 200 grams
- Chicken breast (halal) - 150 grams, thinly sliced
- Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
- Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
- Bell pepper - 1 small, sliced
- Spinach - 100 grams
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Water - 1 liter
Steps
- Bring 1 liter of water to a boil in a large pot. Add the udon noodles and cook according to package instructions, usually around 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the sliced chicken breast to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked through.
- Stir in the julienned carrot, sliced bell pepper, and chopped green onions. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- Add the cooked udon noodles to the skillet along with the soy sauce and black pepper. Toss everything together to evenly coat the noodles and heat through for about 2-3 minutes.
- Finally, add the spinach and stir until wilted, about 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Serve hot, garnished with extra green onions if desired.
