- Beef short ribs - 500 grams
- Soy sauce - 60 ml
- Brown sugar - 30 grams
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Sesame oil - 2 tablespoons
- Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Water - 100 ml
Steps
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, black pepper, and water to create the marinade.
- Add the beef short ribs to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the short ribs from the marinade and let excess marinade drip off.
- Grill the short ribs for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are nicely charred and cooked through.
- During the last minute of grilling, sprinkle chopped green onions and sesame seeds over the ribs.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Serve hot with steamed rice and your favorite Korean side dishes.
