Ingredients
- Mixed seafood (shrimp, squid, mussels) - 300 grams
- Tofu (firm) - 150 grams, cubed
- Korean radish (mu) - 100 grams, sliced
- Carrot - 50 grams, julienned
- Zucchini - 100 grams, sliced
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 inch, minced
- Korean chili flakes (gochugaru) - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Water or seafood stock - 600 ml
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- In a large pot, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and ginger, and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the sliced Korean radish, carrot, and zucchini to the pot. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes until they begin to soften.
- Pour in the water or seafood stock, then add soy sauce, fish sauce, and Korean chili flakes. Bring to a boil.
- Once boiling, add the mixed seafood and tofu cubes to the pot. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes, until the seafood is cooked through.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Stir in the chopped green onions just before serving.
- Serve hot in bowls and enjoy with a side of steamed rice.
