Ingredients

  • Mixed seafood (shrimp, squid, mussels) - 300 grams
  • Tofu (firm) - 150 grams, cubed
  • Korean radish (mu) - 100 grams, sliced
  • Carrot - 50 grams, julienned
  • Zucchini - 100 grams, sliced
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 inch, minced
  • Korean chili flakes (gochugaru) - 1 tablespoon
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Water or seafood stock - 600 ml
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a large pot, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and ginger, and sauté until fragrant.
  2. Add the sliced Korean radish, carrot, and zucchini to the pot. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes until they begin to soften.
  3. Pour in the water or seafood stock, then add soy sauce, fish sauce, and Korean chili flakes. Bring to a boil.
  4. Once boiling, add the mixed seafood and tofu cubes to the pot. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes, until the seafood is cooked through.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Stir in the chopped green onions just before serving.
  6. Serve hot in bowls and enjoy with a side of steamed rice.
