Ingredients

  • Fresh spinach - 200 grams
  • All-purpose flour - 50 grams
  • Water - 80 ml
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Wash the fresh spinach thoroughly and blanch it in boiling water for 1-2 minutes until wilted, then drain and cool.
  2. Once cool, squeeze out excess water from the spinach and chop it finely.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped spinach, all-purpose flour, water, egg, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Pour half of the spinach mixture into the pan, spreading it out evenly to form a pancake.
  6. Cook for 3-4 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes on the other side.
  7. Repeat the process with the remaining mixture to create a second pancake.
  8. Drizzle sesame oil over the cooked pancakes before serving.
