Ingredients

Steps

  1. Wash the fresh spinach thoroughly under cold water and drain well.
  2. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and blanch the spinach for about 30 seconds.
  3. Remove the spinach from the boiling water and immediately transfer it to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process.
  4. Once cooled, drain the spinach and gently squeeze out any excess water.
  5. In a mixing bowl, combine the minced garlic, sesame oil, soy sauce (or coconut aminos), red pepper flakes, and salt to taste.
  6. Add the drained spinach to the mixing bowl and toss gently to coat the spinach evenly with the seasoning.
