Ingredients

  • Firm tofu - 300 grams
  • Sesame oil - 2 tablespoons

  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Green onion - 2 stalks, chopped
  • Cabbage - 100 grams, shredded
  • Carrot - 50 grams, grated
  • Kimchi - 100 grams
  • Lettuce leaves - 4 large
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Olive oil - for frying

Steps

  1. Press the tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then crumble it into a bowl.
  2. Add sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame seeds, and chopped green onion to the crumbled tofu. Mix well until combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into two burger patties.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  5. While the patties are cooking, prepare the slaw by mixing shredded cabbage and grated carrot in a bowl. Add a splash of soy sauce and a drizzle of sesame oil, then toss to combine.
