  • Whole grain burger buns - 2
  • Lettuce leaves - 2
  • Cucumber - 1/2, thinly sliced
  • Carrot - 1/2, grated
  • Korean chili paste (Gochujang) - 1 teaspoon
  • Greek yogurt - 2 tablespoons
  • Honey - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine ground chicken, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, chopped green onion, sesame seeds, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into two patties.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until they are fully cooked and golden brown.
  4. In a small bowl, mix Greek yogurt, honey, and gochujang to create a creamy sauce.
  5. To assemble the burgers, place a lettuce leaf on each whole grain bun, followed by the chicken patty, sliced cucumber, grated carrot, and a generous spoonful of the sesame sauce.
  6. Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
