  • Shrimp - 200 grams, peeled and deveined
  • Squid - 100 grams, cleaned and sliced into rings
  • Fish fillet (white fish like cod) - 150 grams, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • Zucchini - 1 medium, spiralized or cut into thin strips
  • Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
  • Mushrooms (shiitake or enoki) - 100 grams, sliced
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 inch piece, minced
  • Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
  • Coconut aminos - 2 tablespoons
  • Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Bone broth (or seafood stock) - 600 ml
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Red pepper flakes - 1 teaspoon (optional, for spice)
  • Fresh cilantro - for garnish

Steps

  1. In a pot, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and ginger, sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  2. Pour in the bone broth and bring to a simmer. Add the coconut aminos and fish sauce.
  3. Add the sliced mushrooms, carrots, and zucchini to the broth. Let them cook for about 5 minutes until softened.
  4. Introduce the shrimp, squid, and fish pieces into the pot. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the seafood is cooked through.
  5. Stir in the green onions and red pepper flakes if using. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  6. Remove from heat and serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro.
