- Shrimp - 200 grams, peeled and deveined
- Squid - 100 grams, cleaned and sliced into rings
- Fish fillet (white fish like cod) - 150 grams, cut into bite-sized pieces
- Zucchini - 1 medium, spiralized or cut into thin strips
- Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
- Mushrooms (shiitake or enoki) - 100 grams, sliced
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 inch piece, minced
- Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
- Coconut aminos - 2 tablespoons
- Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Bone broth (or seafood stock) - 600 ml
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Red pepper flakes - 1 teaspoon (optional, for spice)
- Fresh cilantro - for garnish
Steps
- In a pot, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and ginger, sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in the bone broth and bring to a simmer. Add the coconut aminos and fish sauce.
- Add the sliced mushrooms, carrots, and zucchini to the broth. Let them cook for about 5 minutes until softened.
- Introduce the shrimp, squid, and fish pieces into the pot. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the seafood is cooked through.
- Stir in the green onions and red pepper flakes if using. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Remove from heat and serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro.
