- Pork belly - 400 grams
- Garlic cloves - 4, minced
- Sesame oil - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Lettuce leaves - 200 grams
- Sliced cucumbers - 100 grams
- Sliced radishes - 100 grams
- Green onions - 4, chopped
- Gochujang (Korean chili paste) - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Cut the pork belly into 1 cm thick slices and season with salt and black pepper.
- In a small bowl, mix the minced garlic, sesame oil, and soy sauce to make a marinade.
- Marinate the pork belly slices in the mixture for about 10 minutes.
- Place the marinated pork belly on the grill and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until crispy and cooked through.
- While the pork is grilling, prepare the side vegetables by washing the lettuce leaves and slicing the cucumbers and radishes.
- Once the pork is done, remove it from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
- Serve the grilled pork belly with lettuce leaves, gochujang, and the fresh vegetables on the side for wrapping.
