  • Pork Belly - 200 grams, sliced into thin strips
  • Gochujang (Korean chili paste) - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy Sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Maple Syrup - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame Oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Green Onions - 2, chopped
  • Red Bell Pepper - 1, thinly sliced
  • Carrot - 1 small, julienned
  • Cilantro - a handful, chopped
  • Sesame Seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (430°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix the gochujang, soy sauce, maple syrup, and sesame oil to create a marinade.
  3. Add the pork belly strips to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. While the pork is marinating, roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  5. Transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Drizzle olive oil over the dough and season with a pinch of salt.
  7. Bake the pizza crust in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes or until it starts to turn golden brown.
  8. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the marinated pork belly for about 5-7 minutes until crispy and cooked through.
  9. Remove the crust from the oven and spread the cooked pork belly evenly over the top.
  10. Add the sliced red bell pepper, julienned carrot, and chopped green onions on top of the pork.
  11. Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the vegetables are slightly tender.
  12. Once done, remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped cilantro and sesame seeds before slicing and serving.
