  • Carrot - 50g, julienned
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Chili flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Fresh cilantro - for garnish (optional)

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour and water to create a smooth batter.
  2. Add the egg and whisk until fully incorporated.
  3. Fold in the chopped green onions, bell pepper, mushrooms, and carrot into the batter.
  4. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the skillet, spreading it evenly to form a round pizza shape.
  6. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the bottom is golden brown, then flip and cook for another 5-7 minutes.
  7. Remove the first pizza and repeat the process with the remaining batter, adding another tablespoon of olive oil if necessary.
  8. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, chili flakes, and black pepper to create a sauce.
  9. Slice the pajeon pizza and drizzle with the sauce before serving.
  10. Garnish with fresh cilantro if desired.
