- Udon noodles - 200 grams

- Soy sauce (kosher) - 3 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 2 tablespoons
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, toasted
- Water - 500 milliliters
Steps
- Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the udon noodles according to package instructions, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the chopped scallions, julienned carrot, and sliced bell pepper to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
- In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, sesame oil, black pepper, and cornstarch with a few tablespoons of water to create a slurry.
- Add the cooked udon noodles to the skillet with the vegetables. Pour the sauce mixture over the noodles and toss everything together until well combined and heated through, about 2-3 minutes.
