Steps
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and ginger, sautéing for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the sliced onion, bell pepper, and carrot to the skillet, stir-frying for 3-4 minutes until they begin to soften.
- Add the cleaned squid rings to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn opaque.
- Stir in the gochujang and soy sauce, mixing well to coat the squid and vegetables evenly.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to slightly thicken.
- Add the chopped green onion and drizzle with sesame oil, stirring to combine.
- Season with black pepper to taste and remove from heat.
- Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds, alongside steamed rice or fresh vegetables.
