Steps
- In a pot, bring 1 liter of water to a boil, then add the ginger and crushed garlic.
- Add the cleaned and sliced squid to the boiling water and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn opaque.
- Remove the squid from the pot and place them in a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process.
- In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, sesame oil, chopped green onions, red chili flakes, and lemon juice to create the dipping sauce.
- Drain the squid from the ice water and slice them into bite-sized pieces.
- Serve the squid warm or at room temperature with the dipping sauce on the side.
