  • Squid - 300 grams, cleaned and sliced

  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
  • Red chili flakes - 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon - 1, juiced

Steps

  1. In a pot, bring 1 liter of water to a boil, then add the ginger and crushed garlic.
  2. Add the cleaned and sliced squid to the boiling water and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn opaque.
  3. Remove the squid from the pot and place them in a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, sesame oil, chopped green onions, red chili flakes, and lemon juice to create the dipping sauce.
  5. Drain the squid from the ice water and slice them into bite-sized pieces.
  6. Serve the squid warm or at room temperature with the dipping sauce on the side.
