Ingredients
- Water - 500 ml
- Dried seaweed (miyeok) - 10 g
- Soft tofu - 200 g
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Soak the dried seaweed in cold water for about 10 minutes until it becomes soft, then drain and chop it into bite-sized pieces.
- In a pot, bring 500 ml of water to a boil. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Add the chopped seaweed to the pot and let it cook for another 3 minutes.
- Cut the soft tofu into cubes and gently add it to the soup, allowing it to heat through for about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the soy sauce and sesame oil, and season with black pepper to taste.
- Finally, garnish with chopped green onions before serving hot.
