Ingredients

  • Nori sheets - 2
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Sea salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Red pepper flakes - 1/4 teaspoon (optional)

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Cut the nori sheets into bite-sized pieces, approximately 5x5 cm squares.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, sesame oil, sea salt, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes if using.
  4. Brush both sides of each nori piece with the oil mixture using a pastry brush.
  5. Place the nori pieces in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the nori chips are crispy and slightly browned.
  7. Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
