Ingredients

  • Napa cabbage - 200 grams, chopped
  • Cooked rice - 1 cup (200 grams)
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Carrot - 1 small, julienned
  • Vegetable broth - 1/2 cup (120 ml)
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, toasted

Steps

  1. In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Add the chopped napa cabbage and julienned carrot to the skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender.
  3. Pour in the vegetable broth and soy sauce, and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for another 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the cooked rice and mix well to combine everything. Allow the rice to heat through, about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped green onions.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with toasted sesame seeds.
