- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Carrot - 1 small, julienned
- Vegetable broth - 1/2 cup (120 ml)
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, toasted
Steps
- In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the chopped napa cabbage and julienned carrot to the skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender.
- Pour in the vegetable broth and soy sauce, and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for another 5 minutes.
- Stir in the cooked rice and mix well to combine everything. Allow the rice to heat through, about 3-5 minutes.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped green onions.
