- Korean fish cake - 100 grams, sliced

- Green onion - 2 stalks, chopped
- Cabbage - 100 grams, chopped
- Gochujang (Korean chili paste) - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon for garnish
Steps
- In a pot, bring 500 milliliters of water to a boil.
- Add the tteok and cook for about 5-7 minutes until they are soft and chewy.
- Remove the tteok from the pot and set aside, reserving the water.
- In the same pot, add sliced fish cake, carrot, cabbage, and chopped green onions.
- Cook the vegetables for about 5 minutes until they begin to soften.
- In a small bowl, mix gochujang, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and sesame oil to create the sauce.
- Pour the sauce over the cooked vegetables in the pot and stir well.
- Add the cooked tteok back into the pot and mix everything, cooking for another 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds and additional green onions if desired.
