Ingredients

  • Pizza dough - 200 grams
  • Shiitake mushrooms - 100 grams, sliced
  • Button mushrooms - 100 grams, sliced
  • Korean chili paste (gochujang) - 1 tablespoon
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Vegetable broth - 100 ml
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
  • Kimchi - 50 grams, chopped
  • Nori seaweed - 1 sheet, cut into strips
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh cilantro - for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a pan, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add sliced shiitake and button mushrooms to the pan. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until mushrooms are tender.
  4. Stir in gochujang, soy sauce, and vegetable broth. Let simmer for another 5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and shape.
  6. Transfer the dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Spread the mushroom mixture evenly over the pizza dough.
  8. Top with chopped kimchi and sprinkle with chopped green onions.
  9. Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
  10. Remove from the oven and garnish with nori strips, sesame seeds, and fresh cilantro before serving.
