Ingredients

  • Dried seaweed (miyeok) - 20g
  • Water - 4 cups (1 liter)
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
  • Tofu (firm, diced) - 150g
  • Green onions (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Soak the dried seaweed in water for about 10 minutes until it softens, then drain and chop into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a pot, add 4 cups of water and bring it to a boil.
  3. Add the soaked seaweed to the boiling water and reduce the heat to medium.
  4. Stir in the minced garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil, then let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
  5. Gently add the diced tofu and continue to simmer for another 5 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
