- Cucumber - 200 grams
- Carrot - 50 grams
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Green onion - 1 stalk
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes) - 1 teaspoon
- Sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
Steps
- Wash the cucumber and carrot thoroughly. Cut the cucumber in half lengthwise, then slice thinly into half-moons. Julienne the carrot into thin strips.
- In a small bowl, mince the garlic and finely chop the green onion.
- In another bowl, combine the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, gochugaru, sugar, and salt. Mix well until the sugar dissolves.
- Add the cucumber and carrot to the bowl with the dressing. Toss to coat the vegetables evenly.
- Finally, sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onion on top before serving.
