Ingredients

  • Dried miyeok (seaweed) - 10 grams
  • Water - 500 ml
  • Beef (brisket or shank) - 100 grams
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Green onion - 1 stalk, chopped

Steps

  1. Soak the dried miyeok in water for about 20 minutes, then rinse and drain.
  2. In a pot, add 500 ml of water and the beef. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.
  3. Add the soaked miyeok to the pot along with minced garlic and soy sauce. Simmer for another 15 minutes.
  4. Stir in sesame oil and salt to taste. Adjust seasoning as needed.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onion.
