Ingredients

  • Miyeok (dried seaweed) - 20 grams
  • Tofu (firm) - 100 grams
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic (minced) - 1 clove
  • Rice vinegar - 1 teaspoon
  • Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Green onion (chopped) - 1 tablespoon
  • Water - 500 ml

Steps

  1. Soak the dried miyeok in 500 ml of water for about 10 minutes until it expands and becomes tender.
  2. Drain the miyeok and rinse under cold water, then cut into bite-sized pieces.
  3. While the miyeok is soaking, dice the firm tofu into small cubes.
  4. In a pan over medium heat, add the sesame oil and sauté the minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add the diced tofu to the pan and cook until lightly golden, about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. In a large bowl, combine the soaked miyeok, sautéed tofu, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and chopped green onion.
  7. Toss gently to mix all the ingredients together, then sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
