- Water - 100 ml
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Ground beef (kosher) - 100 grams
- Chopped shiitake mushrooms - 50 grams
- Chopped green onions - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce (kosher) - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic (minced) - 1 clove
- Ginger (minced) - 1 teaspoon
- Vegetable broth - 1 liter
- Noodles (wheat or rice, kosher) - 150 grams
- Carrots (julienned) - 50 grams
- Spinach - 100 grams
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine wheat flour and salt. Gradually add water and knead until a smooth dough forms. Cover and let rest for 30 minutes.
- In another bowl, mix ground beef, chopped shiitake mushrooms, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and minced ginger until well combined to prepare the filling.
- Roll out the rested dough on a floured surface to about 2mm thickness. Cut into 8cm squares for dumpling wrappers.
- Place a teaspoon of the filling in the center of each wrapper, fold over to create a triangle, and seal the edges tightly. Optionally, crimp edges for decoration.
- Bring the vegetable broth to a boil in a pot. Add the dumplings and cook for about 5-7 minutes until they float and are cooked through.
- Add the noodles, carrots, and spinach to the pot and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until the noodles are tender.
- Serve hot, garnished with extra green onions if desired.
