Ingredients

  • Gluten-free dumpling wrappers - 12 pieces
  • Ground pork - 150 grams
  • Chopped cabbage - 50 grams
  • Chopped green onions - 30 grams
  • Minced garlic - 1 clove
  • Grated ginger - 1 teaspoon
  • Soy sauce (gluten-free) - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Egg - 1, beaten (for sealing)
  • Oil (for frying) - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, chopped cabbage, chopped green onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  2. Place a spoonful of the filling mixture in the center of each gluten-free dumpling wrapper. Brush the edges of the wrapper with beaten egg, fold the wrapper in half, and pinch to seal tightly.
  3. Heat oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the dumplings and fry for about 2-3 minutes until the bottoms are golden brown.
  4. Add a splash of water (about 50ml) to the pan and cover with a lid immediately. Let the dumplings steam for 5-7 minutes until cooked through.
  5. Remove the lid and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to crisp the bottoms again. Serve hot with dipping sauce.
