  • Sugar - 2 tablespoons
  • Rice vinegar - 3 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Green onion - 1 stalk, chopped
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, toasted

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the julienned radish and salt. Let it sit for 10 minutes to draw out moisture.
  2. After 10 minutes, rinse the radish under cold water and drain well.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar, rice vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger until the sugar is dissolved.
  4. Add the drained radish to the sauce mixture and toss until well coated.
