Ingredients

  • Ground beef (lean) - 250 grams
  • Garlic (minced) - 1 clove
  • Ginger (grated) - 1 teaspoon
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Gochujang (Korean chili paste) - 1 teaspoon
  • Green onions (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Whole wheat slider buns - 2
  • Cabbage (finely shredded) - 100 grams
  • Carrot (grated) - 1 small
  • Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Honey - 1 teaspoon
  • Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, gochujang, chopped green onions, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and browned.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the slaw. In a separate bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, grated carrot, rice vinegar, honey, and sesame seeds. Toss until well mixed.
  5. To assemble the sliders, place each beef patty on a whole wheat slider bun and top with a generous amount of the slaw. Close the buns and serve immediately.
