- Ground beef - 250g
- Green onion - 2 stalks, finely chopped

- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Egg - 1, beaten
- Almond flour - 2 tablespoons
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red pepper flakes - 1/4 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cilantro - 1 tablespoon, chopped (optional)
- Sugar-free sweetener - 1 teaspoon (optional for dipping sauce)
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped green onion, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, beaten egg, almond flour, black pepper, red pepper flakes, salt, and chopped cilantro (if using).
- Mix the ingredients well until they are evenly combined.
- Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 2.5 cm in diameter.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through and nicely browned.
- While the meatballs are baking, prepare a dipping sauce by mixing soy sauce, sesame oil, and optional sugar-free sweetener in a small bowl.
- Serve the meatballs hot with the dipping sauce on the side.
