Ingredients
- Firm tofu - 300 grams
- Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
- Bell pepper (red or yellow) - 1 medium, sliced
- Zucchini - 1 medium, sliced
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Steps
- Press the tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the cubed tofu to the skillet and fry until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the tofu and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the garlic and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the julienned carrot, sliced bell pepper, and zucchini to the skillet, and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Return the tofu to the skillet and add the soy sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper. Stir to combine and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving. Adjust salt to taste if necessary.
