Ingredients

  • Korean radish (mu) - 200 grams
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sugar - 1 teaspoon
  • Green onion - 1 stalk, chopped
  • Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Peel the Korean radish and cut it into thin matchstick strips.
  2. In a pan, heat the sesame oil over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic to the pan and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the radish strips to the pan and stir-fry for about 5 minutes until they begin to soften.
  5. Stir in the soy sauce, sugar, and black pepper, mixing well to combine.
  6. Continue to stir-fry for an additional 3-5 minutes until the radish is tender but still retains some crunch.
  7. Remove from heat and sprinkle chopped green onion and sesame seeds on top before serving.
