- Soy sauce (low sodium) - 1 tablespoon (15ml)
- Gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes) - 1 teaspoon (5g)
- Sugar substitute (erythritol or similar) - 1 teaspoon (4g)
- Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon (5g)
- Green onions - 2 stalks (chopped)
- Salt - to taste
Steps
- Wash and slice the red, green, and yellow bell peppers into thin strips.
- Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Add the sliced bell peppers to the skillet and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes, until they are tender-crisp.
- Stir in the soy sauce, gochugaru, and sugar substitute, mixing well to coat the peppers evenly.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
- Serve warm as a side dish.
