  • Nappa cabbage - 300 grams

  • Gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes) - 1 teaspoon
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, for garnish

Steps

  1. Wash the nappa cabbage thoroughly and cut it into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  4. Add the nappa cabbage to the skillet, stirring frequently, and cook for about 5 minutes until it starts to wilt.
  5. Sprinkle in the gochugaru, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper, mixing well to combine.
  6. Continue to stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until the cabbage is tender but still crisp.
