Ingredients

  • Zucchini - 200 grams
  • Yellow squash - 200 grams
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes) - 1 tablespoon
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Green onion - 1 stalk, chopped
  • Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Wash the zucchini and yellow squash, then slice them into thin half-moons.
  2. In a large pan, heat the sesame oil over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic to the pan and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the sliced zucchini and yellow squash to the pan, stirring well to combine.
  5. Sprinkle the gochugaru over the squash and mix thoroughly to coat the vegetables evenly.
  6. Add soy sauce, salt, and pepper to taste, and continue to sauté the vegetables for about 5-7 minutes or until they become tender.
  7. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
  8. Serve warm as a side dish.
