Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 300 grams
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Gochujang (Korean red chili paste) - 1 tablespoon
  • Honey - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
  • Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Wooden skewers - 4 (soaked in water for 30 minutes)

Steps

  1. Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and place them in a mixing bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine soy sauce, gochujang, honey, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  3. Pour the marinade over the chicken pieces and mix well to coat evenly. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the soaked wooden skewers.
  6. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
  7. Remove from the grill and sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
