- Chicken thighs - 300 grams, boneless and skinless
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Gochujang (Korean chili paste) - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Carrot - 1 medium, sliced
- Bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
- Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, gochujang, sesame oil, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, black pepper, and a pinch of salt to create the marinade.
- Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and coat them thoroughly with the marinade. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- In a baking dish, arrange the marinated chicken thighs, followed by the sliced carrot and bell pepper.
- Pour any remaining marinade from the bowl over the chicken and vegetables.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F).
- Once done, remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
