- Bean sprouts - 200 grams
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Green onion - 2 stalks, chopped
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes) - 1 teaspoon
- Rice vinegar - 1 teaspoon
- Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
Steps
- Rinse the bean sprouts under cold water and drain well.
- In a pot, bring water to a boil and add the bean sprouts, cooking for 2-3 minutes until just tender.
- Drain the bean sprouts and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Allow them to cool completely.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the minced garlic, chopped green onion, sesame oil, soy sauce, gochugaru, rice vinegar, and salt. Mix well.
- Add the cooled bean sprouts to the mixing bowl and toss gently to coat them evenly with the dressing.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and give it one last gentle toss.
- Serve immediately or let it chill in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes before serving.
