- Potatoes - 300 grams
- Onion - 1 small (approximately 100 grams)
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Carrot - 50 grams
- Green onion - 2 stalks
- Egg - 1 large
- Milk - 50 ml
- All-purpose flour - 50 grams
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Cooking oil - for greasing
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and lightly grease a baking dish with cooking oil.
- Peel and chop the potatoes, then boil them in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes.
- While the potatoes are boiling, finely chop the onion, garlic, carrot, and green onion.
- In a pan over medium heat, sauté the onion and garlic until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add the carrot and sauté for an additional 3 minutes.
- Drain the potatoes and mash them in a bowl. Mix in the sautéed vegetables, green onion, egg, milk, flour, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving warm.
