Ingredients

  • Potatoes - 300 grams
  • Onion - 1 small (approximately 100 grams)
  • Garlic - 2 cloves
  • Carrot - 50 grams
  • Green onion - 2 stalks
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Milk - 50 ml
  • All-purpose flour - 50 grams
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Cooking oil - for greasing

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and lightly grease a baking dish with cooking oil.
  2. Peel and chop the potatoes, then boil them in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes.
  3. While the potatoes are boiling, finely chop the onion, garlic, carrot, and green onion.
  4. In a pan over medium heat, sauté the onion and garlic until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add the carrot and sauté for an additional 3 minutes.
  5. Drain the potatoes and mash them in a bowl. Mix in the sautéed vegetables, green onion, egg, milk, flour, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  6. Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving warm.
